Thanks...

Just a quick note to say thank you to Sue G for the lovely card that you sent... your kinds wishes are so appreciated.  Also a big thanks to Logan and Charlee's (not so old) teacher, Julie Huggins and her family for the two cards they sent to us... Logan was quite surprised to hear from you.  Love and thoughts to your son also.

Briefly... Logan is holding his own today... his BP is sitting on 139/93 (ish) and they have decided to definitely transfuse platelets twice a day, or else they risk him having bleed on the brain. His phas settled at around 125 (ish) which is low compared to where is was over the weekend... (140-150).

Logan has spent most of the day resting... drifting in and out of sleep.  He asked to speak privately with the doctors earlier, which we respected, but are unsure why.

His bilirubin level is sitting a bit higher on 71, and his eyes and face are showing signs of jaundice.  The nurse told Evan and I that the renal team has been consulted.  Not sure what that means but I guess we will find out when they feel like telling us.

Accept for the occasional puke,  he has been calm today. Not too much pain. They wake him only when necessary, and we always ensure someone is with him at all times. Today's nurse, Sabrina, has agreed to sit with him while we eat our dinner this evening... I think she has her eyes on my lazy-boy chair....

Love to all

my favourite pun so far: I wondered why the baseball kept getting bigger... then it hit me.
second favourite pun: A sign on the lawn of the drug rehab centre: "keep off the grass"
third favourite: two fish swim into a concrete wall. one turns to the other and says "dam"

worst so far: two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Not surprisingly, it sank. Proving, once again, that you cannot have your kayak and heat it too!
